The rally continues at the third stop on our tour. We're here at the Three Rivers Art Festival in the heart of steel town.
Pet rescue thrived this weekend. Attendees were buying t-shirts and collar / wristband sets faster then we could put them out. Thirteen hours and thirty-five minutes were logged on the virtual walk. All this resulting in fourteen hundred and fifty dollars donated to out local ambassadors.
Melissa's rescued dog, Viola, stole the show. What a cutie. We can't even begin to tell you how many times we were asked if she was up for adoption. "Can I take her home right now?" asked one woman. People flocked to our table just to pet her.
From the funds raised to the beautiful weather, to Viola struting her stuff, this weekend in Pittsburgh has been the most exciting and inspirational yet. It just keeps getting better and better.
Melissa's Tip: When adopting a new pet, make sure to match your personality with your new loved one. Owning a pet is committment with a great deal of responsibility.
Make sure to identify and be aware of your animal's personality profile.
Is your new-found loved one unconfident, independant or dominant? An unconfident pet will be shy, an independant pet will be confident and a dominant pet tends to be over-confident.
So, choose a dog or cat according to your character and level of experience
