The weekend has come to an end and the Pro Plan Rally Across America Tour has had another wonderful weekend. The Taste of Colorado was an extremely crowded event that allowed people young and old to learn a little more about pet rescue while raising funds at the same time. This weekend the people of Denver logged 23 hours and 35 minutes on our virtual walk. That means Pro Plan will donate another $1,415 to support pet rescue. We also sold 68 collar/wristband sets and all the proceeds from those sales will be donated to Denver area rescue groups. This was a very fun event to be a part of. We were kept extremely busy by the large crowds and the pets were a huge hit with everyone who attended. I believe 10 pets were adopted and given a new loving home. I wish everyone could see the joy in the face of our volunteers when they come over and tell me another pet just found a new home. This was a great weekend for everybody who came by and supported pet rescue. I know we will be back to Denver next year to help more lucky dogs and cats find new loving homes. Thank you to all the rescue groups who came out and participated this weekend you were very fun to work with.
