This weekend the Pro Plan Rally Across America Tour came home to St. Louis Missouri for the Great Forest Park Balloon Race. We welcomed 20 pet rescue groups from the St. Louis metropolitan area to Forest Park to help raise awareness and funds for pet rescue. This weekend marks the 11th stop on our tour and is also a homecoming for myself and the tour. This event was unlike any event we have had in the past. Instead of the usual 10 groups we welcomed 20, we invited the Pro Plan Performance Cats and also welcomed the Incredible Dog Team. I can't begin to describe how amazing these dog and cats are that perform. They are truly special and are a joy to watch. The cats perfom tricks like pushing a shopping cart and shooting a few hoops on a mini basketball goal. The dogs do a fun frisbee show that is filled with energy that gets the crowds cheering. One thing the dogs and cats have in common is they were all rescued. This proves that with the right nutrition and training any pet can be special and perform tricks just like these cats and dogs.

This weekend our treadmills were running non stop. We logged 12 hours on the treadmills to support pet rescue. The weather was perfect and the people of St. Louis filled the park to support pet rescue and witness the launch of dozens of hot air balloons. A big hit at this event was our dog watering station. This station featured two small kiddie pools where dogs lounged and cooled off from the sunny day. Dogs big and small also walked on our canine treadmill to help raise money for their fellow rescue pets. I knew coming home would be fun, but I didn't think it would be nearly as fun as it was.
